Missouri State University is your certified training provider for the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) HR-218 in southern Missouri.
As a qualified retired or separated officer, you may earn your LEOSA credentials for conceal and carry after successfully completing this training.
We will review the HR 218* within the classroom and then go to the firing range, all within the same building, to shoot 50 rounds. To qualify for the certification, you will need to make an 80 percent (40/50 rounds have to be on target).
Once qualified you will receive a wallet size certificate that is good for one calendar year from the training date. POST credit is available as well.

Courses will be located at Peacekeepers Range(891 E. 385th Cliquot, MO 65640). All classes are limited to size and space is limited.

In addition to the firearm, you will need to bring:
- A minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition with two magazines minimum, three or more preferred
- Eye and ear protection (NOT supplied)
- Properly functioning firearm (required to shoot 14 rounds in 45 seconds)
