Partner with PSTC for your training needs and be guaranteed access to the 24 hour continuing-education requirements mandated by POST. You will find, each course is accompanied by a description including a breakdown of the new core areas POST is now requiring.

As an approved provider for POST training, we (MSU) will report each course completed by an individual officer in accordance with the required areas of officer development. Our 2017 schedule includes course topics such as (but not limited to):

•  Radar/Laser Certification & Re-certification (4 hours)

•  Basic Report Writing (4 hours)

•  Advanced Report Writing (4 hours)

•  Interviews & Interrogations (24 hours)

•  First Responder Wellness (4 hours)

•  De-escalation/crisis management (8 hours)

•  HAZMAT for first responders (8 hours)

•  ARIDE (8 hours)

•  Mental Health and Cognitive Impairment Awareness (signs & symptoms) (4 hours)

•  Endangered Persons System Activation/Response (4 hours)

•  Less-lethal Certification/Re-certification (4/8 hours)
